Webinar: Data Citation: Griffith University's journey

Register at: https://www4.gotomeeting.com/register/124863415

Following the success of our last event in May, at our next webinar on June 5, we will continue the "back to basics" theme with a practical example of how one university has approached data citation. Natasha Simons will talk about Griffith University's data citation journey.

During this session, Natasha will cover:
• When and why Griffith decided to mint DOIs for their research data collections.
• How Griffith used the ANDS Cite My Data Service.
• Guidelines and workflows that Griffith developed to govern DOIs and data citation.
• Griffith's experience in providing targeted outreach to researchers about the benefits of data citation.

Gerry Ryder and Liz Wood from ANDS will also be on hand to help answer your questions.

This is a great opportunity for those who are new to the concept of data citation and DOIs, those who want to learn more, or those with an unanswered question. There will be plenty of time for discussion and questions. No question too simple or too complex!
